Welcome to the Lynx Family! The CU Denver Family Engagement office recognizes the important
role that parents and families play in supporting our students. We
strive to provide you with engagement opportunities and invite you to our community.
We are committed to forming partnerships and providing resources for CU Denver parents, families, and support persons and offer a variety of ways for you to become familiar with current happenings and campus resources. We want to empower you to understand the CU Denver college experience to best support your student.
If you can't find what you're looking for or need additional support, please don't hesitate to contact us!
We welcome and strongly encourage family members and guests to participate in Family & Guest Orientation.

We offer two Zoom Spotlight Sessions before the fall semester begins.
The Family Social promises to be an evening filled with delightful experiences, valuable connections, and a taste of what awaits your student this fall. You can enjoy refreshments while connecting with other families, staff, and faculty and hear from our special guest speaker, Dr. Monique Snowden, who will share her insights to inspire and empower you on this exciting journey. Also, prepare for an engaging game filled with laughter and friendly competition.
Remember, this event is exclusively for families of incoming students, allowing you to connect with fellow CU Denver parents and support persons. Rest assured, your students will have their own activities throughout the week to immerse themselves in the CU Denver community and make new friends.

Balancing life and school can be difficult. At CU Denver, every student matters. The CARE team was created to help students navigate a wide variety of life’s challenges by creating plans to confront difficulties while providing support and resources to keep them safe and successful. If you believe your student is facing challenges, we encourage you to submit at CARE report to connect them with our friendly and compassionate team. Together we can help them get through difficult times and get back on track.
